In true Hermès style, the All About Women event, held early this summer in the former J.P. Morgan building on Wall Street, was an irresistible blend of creative vision, imagination, and a generous splash of whimsy. EQ was the only equestrian publication invited, and we pulled out our phones to share some video of the event.

Guests, greeted at the entrance by an origami-style horse covered in an Hermès scarf pattern, were led directly up a grand staircase to marvel at Christophe Lemaire’s ready-to-wear runway show.

Immediately following the show, leading artistic directors, artists, photographers, editors, architects, actors, the press, and those with an appreciation for the house’s artistry and exquisitely crafted offerings, were transported into an unforgettable evening. It was part carnival and part theater, and everyone was an active participant in a party to remember. Read more in EQ’s Fall issue about the sheer magic of this event, and how the rich equestrian heritage of Hermès was front and center.
