After three years of marriage, the power equestrian couple have decided to go their separate ways. International show jumper Karl Cook and Kaley Cuoco, best known for her role in the Big Bang Theory and as the star of the more recent the Flight Attendant, have publicly announced their break up in a join statement.
“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” the statement said. “We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.”
The couple met in 2016 and were married on June 30, 2018 at a ceremony near a stable in San Diego.
Though fans and equestrians are surprised at the news, it is unlikely more information about it will come to light. The statement continued, “We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.”
Both have flourishing careers to focus on, as Karl Cook’s international riding career and his base at Pomponio Ranch in San Diego as well as Kaley’s ever-evolving acting, including 2 Grammy nominations for her most recent role in the Flight Attendant on HBO.
