The International Polo Tour (IPT) has unveiled an extraordinary itinerary for Fall 2025 an adventure combining the thrill of polo with the awe-inspiring beauty of Antarctica. More than a cruise; it’s an immersive journey designed to appeal to both seasoned polo enthusiasts and adventurous travelers.
The thirteen-day “Antarctica Adventure Luxury Cruise” kicks off on November 11, 2025, in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Guests will be immediately immersed in the world of professional polo with a cruise-exclusive match, followed by time to explore the city often called the “Paris of South America.” From there, private charter jets will whisk participants to Ushuaia, Argentina, the world’s southernmost city, where they’ll board an ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht, setting the stage for the true Antarctic expedition.
Once aboard, the journey promises a blend of relaxation and exhilaration. While the ship offers luxurious amenities, the true draw lies in the opportunities for adventure. An expert Discovery Team – comprised of geologists, historians, ornithologists, marine biologists, and glaciologists – will be on hand to provide personalized guidance and knowledge. Guests can choose to kayak amongst icebergs, take a polar plunge into the icy waters, or step ashore to observe the incredible Antarctic wildlife. The cruise will navigate the stunning polar landscapes from days four through ten, ensuring an unforgettable experience before returning to Ushuaia on November 23rd.
This unique voyage is a collaboration between the International Polo Tour, founded by Captain Tareq Salahi, and Hotels at Sea® Luxury Cruises. The IPT is known for bringing polo to a wider audience through various formats, from snow to beach polo, and fostering cultural connections through the sport. This Antarctic adventure exemplifies their commitment to innovative and engaging experiences that unite diverse passions.
