Wynn MedingerAlexa Lignelli, a 10-year-old from New York City, proposed to feature Beezie Madden in a fifth-grade biography school project. As part of that school presentation, Alexa wrote to Beezie and asked if she could interview her. What came from this interaction between an accomplished young equestrian in the pony ring (Devon, Washington International Horse Show, Pennsylvania National) and the revered Olympic rider, illustrates Beezie Madden’s influence as an inspirational figure to so many around the world.
