The “Saturday Night Lights with the EQUUS Foundation” annual event once again included a cocktail hour, buffet dinner and a close up, ringside view of the exhilarating CSI 5* Grand Prix competition. The evening also included a silent auction consisting of varied and wonderful items generously donated by individuals and organizations that care about the welfare of America’s horses.
This year’s special guests included not one, but two “Bachelors” from ABC TV’s “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette/The Bachelor in Paradise.” Prince Lorenzo Borghese and Ryan Beckett, both animal welfare advocates and horse lovers, charmed and entertained by posing for photos and handing out red roses to the delight of attendees. Also attending were EQUUS Foundation EQUUStars, Hayley Barnhill, Jessica Springsteen, Brianne Goutal-Marteau, Georgina Bloomberg and Clementine Goutal.
Robert Dover and Robert Ross Celebrate Anniversary with a Football Party to Benefit Equestrian Aid Foundation
Robert Dover, chef d’équipe of the U.S. Dressage team and Robert Ross, Keller Williams Luxury Division agent and show jumper, celebrated their 30-year anniversary and Ross’ birthday at a private football party Sunday, Feb. 4, for friends at their Cypress Island home in Palm Beach Polo and Country Club. They took the opportunity to fundraise for their favorite cause, Equestrian Aid Foundation, and requested donations rather than gifts for the event.
