Hermès, in its consummate style, hosted a dynamic daytime event in recognition of their Talented Young Rider Award, which will be announced during the final weeks of competition at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Florida. The chic gathering was held on the WEF show grounds in the “Central Park” venue. In keeping with Hermès’ skillful blend of style and whimsy, guests were invited to pose at the bandana photo booth and sample treats at the Hermès sorbet cart and the popcorn and lemonade bar. A giant enamel bracelet, prominent in the venue, added another visual delight and colorful backdrop for candid photos.
Another exciting animation was the horse photo booth positioned adjacent to the Grand Prix warm-up ring. It was activated on the weekend of March 6-8 and will be again on the weekend of March 13-15. Visitors are encouraged to creatively accessorize their horses with Hermès silk for a unique photograph to share on social media. The horse photo booth will allow riders to instantly capture shareable images of their horses in classic Hermès. What a memorable way to celebrate WEF 2015 #myhermeshorse.
Apparel from the recently announced Hermès and United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) partnership was also on display. The American team apparel and accessories have expanded to include eight international disciplines: show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining, and para-dressage. This is an extension of the existing partnership for show jumping that has been in place between Hermès and USEF since February 2014. The USEF partnership announcement commenced on the occasion of the FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France on August 23rd, 2014.
In response to this exciting partnership, president and CEO of Hermès USA, Robert Chavez comments: “This new partnership with the USEF represents our continued commitment, ensuring that riders and horses alike have access to the very best available products to meet the demands of competition at the highest level.”
Once again Hermès celebrated equestrian sport and its talented young riders in high regard and impeccable style.
