Sprieser Sporthorse at Clearwater Farm is an elite dressage facility in Marshall, Virginia. Head Trainer Lauren Sprieser is an international Grand Prix dressage trainer and a USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalist with Distinction, whose thoughtful training and care produces top-shelf horses in a holistic and correct way.
Clearwater Farm boasts 85 acres of stunning Virginia countryside, with rolling hills, miles of hacking, and more than 40 individual grass turnout fields. From green to Grand Prix, horses at Sprieser Sporthorse receive ample turnout for mind and body. And every piece of Clearwater Farm’s development is for the horse. While the oversized indoor boasts dust-free footing, the barn offers Comfort Stall mats, infrared solariums in each wash stall, and heated grooming bays for comfort in all weather.
Lauren’s training program develops horses and riders up the levels in a compassionate and joyous way. Lauren and her students have made dozens of FEI horses (including several CDI Grand Prix winners) up the Open, Amateur, and Jr/YR ranks and have contested the USDF Finals, USEF Festival of Champions, NAYC, and Kentucky Three-Day Event. The team does it all with a light heart and a driving belief that correct dressage training makes horses healthier and more beautiful.
