Jill MedingerSport and style converged as the CSI4*-W Royal Horse Show, held as part of the 101st Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Canada, from November 3-12, 2023, entered its second century of excellence. A fixture and final stop on North America’s fabled fall tour, The Royal is steeped in history and tradition. Fans dressed in black-tie fill the Coca-Cola Coliseum for 10 consecutive days of horse sport, with competition ranging from Indoor Eventing to Six-horse hitches and everything in between. Daniel Bluman of Israel was the big winner in the marquee event, the $250,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Toronto, with Jessica Mendoza of Great Britain placing second and U.S. Olympian Kent Farrington rounding out the top three.
