Boyd Martin

Boyd Martin is a top American equestrian who competes in eventing. He has represented the United States in international competitions, including the Olympics, and is known for his skill and athleticism in the sport. He is the owner and trainer at his own stable, Windurra USA, based in Cochranville, PA. He is married to fellow eventer, Silva Martin. He is also a successful coach, and has trained many young riders to the top level of the sport.

Ashlee Bond is an accomplished Olympic equestrian rider known for her skill and dedication to the sport. She has competed in numerous competitions, including riding for Israel in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She is also known for her commitment to horse welfare and training, and is a respected member of the equestrian community.

Alexa Pessoa

Alexa began riding in Connecticut at the Fairfield Hunt Club under the supervision of Emerson Burr. Later, she moved into the junior ranks with the help of Timmy Kees, Leslie Burr Howard, and Kent Farrington. Alexa met her husband, Rodrigo Pessoa, through travels on the circuit, and they compete internationally while raising their daughters.

Margie Engle

Engle won six World Cups and 20 Nations Cups, and was a 10-time American Grandprix Association Rider of the Year. In 1987, she recorded a world-record-high jump of 7 feet 8 inches, ranking among the world’s best.

What books are on her bedside table? “Books by authors Dick Francis, John Grisham, and a pile of horse magazines, of course.”

Kim Tudor

A fixture in the horse show world, Kim served as director of sponsorship for WEF in Wellington, Florida, for 25 years as well as sponsor coordinator for the American Grandprix Association and USET Festival of Champions for over 20 years. However, her real passion is rescuing and rehoming dogs as director of marketing for Danny and Ron’s Rescue

Peter Wylde

Wylde has won many prestigious awards in equestrian sport, including the ASPCA Maclay Finals in Madison Square Garden; individual and team silver medals at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada; an individual bronze medal at the 2002 World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Jerez, Spain; and a team gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. 

 What books are on his bedside table? “Eloquent Rage by Brittney Cooper. She is so sharp. The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles. Amor and I were friends in high school. His three books are all best sellers.”


Arlene “Tuny” Page

Tuny is one of the USA’s most successful dressage riders, ranking among the world’s best. She has won numerous Grand Prix as well as nation cups medals at Aachen, Rotterdam, Hickstead, and Wellington. Tuny owns and operates Stillpoint Farm in Wellington, Florida. 

What books are on her bedside table? “Any of Lee Child’s books, Erik Larsen, and the latest self-help book thanks to my daughter Charlotte.”
