She may be tiny but she is a fighter.

At just five months old, Teaspoon has already shown she is an incredible little girl. A few months ago, Teaspoon was bitten by a poisonous snake on the back of her hoof. Her owners were told the only hope to save her life was to amputate her back leg.

When equine surgeons refused to operate, Teaspoon’s owners searched desperately for help.

With help from Panda Paws Rescue, Goats of Anarchy, a rescue for special needs farm animals, and Walkin’ Pets, Teaspoon has her own, full-support Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair, the first ever built for a horse!

Using an existing wheelchair frame donated from Panda Paws, Walkin’ Pets added the front attachment, wheels and struts needed to convert the wheelchair into the 4- wheel, full support cart she needed.

Panda Paws Rescue is dedicated to saving Teaspoon and will be covering all costs associated with her surgery, care and rehabilitation. Donate to her care via PayPal to Amanda@pandapawsrescue.org
