The Queen was extremely knowledgeable about everything equestrian. From breeding racehorses, sport horses, polo ponies, carriage horses, and hunters, she was deeply involved in the sport, and connected to many horses over her life. She named each of her ponies and horses herself, and could recite the lineage of any of them.
