Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has recently purchased a 7.5-acre horse ranch in Florida’s Southwest Ranches, with a 10-stall stable, tennis courts, a hot tub, an infinity pool, and a newly renovated home with nine bedrooms, as well as soccer facilities. According to public records, the property was purchased for $9.1 million.

The nearly 5,200 square foot home has a primary suite with its own sitting area and private bathroom, as well as a large open living space with a fireplace and a floating glass staircase. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with Italian Calacatta quartz countertops and a built-in bar. An outdoor kitchen has a hibachi grill, pizza oven, BBQ pit, and wine refrigerator.

Gisele and her ex-husband, Tom Brady, jointly owned a number of properties in New York, Massachusetts, Montana, and Florida. She most recently bought a $11.5 million home in Surfside, Florida, which is only a short distance from Tom’s Indian Creek residence. Although it is not yet known where Gisele and her two teenagers will spend the majority of their time, their home in Southwest Ranches is close to a number of highly regarded private schools. Gisele intends to keep horses, chickens, and other farm animals on the property, according to listing agent Chad Bishop, who called it “a real animal-friendly property.”

Southwest Ranches is a rural community of expansive properties, including several equestrian ranches, (hence the town’s name). It is situated close to the Everglades, about halfway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. In Southwest Ranches, which boast miles of parks and riding trails, horses are almost as prevalent as people. Numerous national and local celebrities, such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Devin Hester, Brandon Marshall, and Udonis Johneal Haslem of the Miami Heat, reside in the town.
